Roger Ramey

ProSheet Studio is run by Roger Ramey. I build pricing calculators and Excel / Google Sheets templates for contractors, cleaners, landscapers, freelancers, landlords and small businesses. I am not a contractor, landlord or accountant, and nothing on this site claims trade experience I don't have. What I bring is the arithmetic: every number on the site shows its working so you can check it instead of trusting it.

What is on this site

How the pricing guides are made

  1. Topic. Each guide answers one pricing question people actually search for, picked from search data (search-engine autocomplete and the queries this site already appears for). I skip a topic when an existing guide already answers it.
  2. Drafting. Guides are drafted with AI assistance from a written brief: the question, the method, which calculator applies, and the sources to check.
  3. Numbers. Every worked figure is computed by the same pricing code that runs the free calculators, and the page builder recomputes each example table from that code, so a figure in the text cannot drift from the table or the calculator.
  4. Checks before publishing. An automated check blocks a guide if a dollar amount is not a computed example, a product price or a figure from a cited source, and every source link must load. Statements about a template only describe features that are on that template's own page. No testimonials, invented statistics or "average price" claims unless a named source says so.
  5. Responsibility. I decide what is published and I fix errors when they are found.

Dates and updates

Each guide shows when it was published and when its content last changed. The "Updated" date only moves when the guide itself is edited, not when the site is rebuilt.

Not professional advice

The guides and templates are pricing arithmetic. They are not financial, tax or legal advice. Example inputs are assumptions: replace them with your own wage, overhead, materials and margin, and check tax or legal questions with a qualified professional.
